This was our another Artlab with the students of Bakshi’s Springdales School, Borkheda Kota. They were the students of 6th standard and were happy to see all of us as they got a free day in the school to attend the colourful workshop. All the 40 students took part in the discussion on what are/should be our ways to reduce and reuse the plastic waste. The discussion was followed by creative session in which our volunteers Kapil, Piyush and Narbada facilitated the students to redecorate the plastic bottles and transform them in beautiful items. As always, students enjoyed the uninterrupted colouring…..a black colour flower and a blue colour leaf….or a yellow ladybug…whatever they like. Mrs Urmila Bakshi, the director of the school visited our artlab and interacted with the students. It was really a proud moment when she offered us to adopt the school and do more such workshops for the students. The art and craft teacher Mrs. Deepmala was of great support who helped us in conducting the workshop and was with us for the entire workshop.
