Mark, measure, cut and stitch…..Women from our Kalajeevika Craft Center running at Chawni, are becoming more confident with all the sewing-stitching stuff. Three months garment making course  gave these women an opportunity to come out from their comfort zone and engage themselves in creative learning. Every woman has her own objective of learning and joining the center. Apart from learning from a professional trainer, women are encouraged to learn through peer learning method and local wisdom. The initial three months course has been completed, and they have put their next demand of learning bag making. The preparations for this next program are going on at our level.

So far we have conducted two such mobile craft centers at two locations of the city (Ghoda basti and chawni) with the support of Govt. Women Polytechnic College, Kota.
