It was a joyful afternoon of Christmas time when we facilitated interaction between children of balika grah and some guests. Daniel and Anna Cherian (Directors from Alpha School Society, Cable Nagar, Kota) along with their friends from UK- Dave and Heather visited to Balika Grah and interacted with the children there. Dave who is a social worker in UK (rehab for prison inmates-adult and juveniles) shared his experiences and an inspiring story about realising self worth to the children. Heather who is a Nursery teacher and Anna taught the girls making bracelets using wool. It was really a creative and joyful time when Heather started making figures using balloons for children. This creative session was followed by a delicious treat and lots of gifts arranged by Daniel and Anna. Anshul Mehndiratta (Superintendent, Nari Niketan) extended the thanks and appreciation to all the guests and Daniel showered lots of blessings and best wishes to the children.
