We believe in social function of art to lead positive social, cultural and environmental change. We attempt to inspire learning and spreading social messages with creativity. With this we could able to mobilise various groups of the society as well as churning of thoughts on a contemporary pertinent issue of ‘safe city for women and girls’. We invited everybody..from students, artists …senior citizens of the city to express their feelings on the issue through art by making posters. Approx 300 people participated in poster making event and a poster exhibition was organised at Art Gallery, Kota. The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof S C Rajora, Director Research as well as Dean and Head of the Department of Social Sciences, University of Kota. Prabhakar Sharma, President Sachetan; Kamal Bakshi and Subhash Kekre both the eminent artists of Rajasthan graced the occasion. Dr Mukti Parashar, HoD Drawing and Painting from Aklank Girls PG College contributed to the evaluation process of the posters. Manish Agrawal, ACJM and secretary District Legal Aid Tribunal, Kota shared legal aspects related to the safety of women and girls.
