Being a volunteer is not just helping others or giving back to the society: it is also a process of self-learning and transformation where one can enjoy and cherish the impact of his or her time, talent and skills.

If you are self- motivated, passionate and have a vision to change society; if you can share your time and talent of drawing, dance, drama/theater activities, handicraft, and sports and others, we welcome you as intern or volunteer for the organization. At SACHETAN, we hope to engage volunteers by utilizing various skills and talents to achieve our goals and at the same time to provide a meaningful learning experience for volunteers too.

As a volunteer you can:

• Create a difference in the life of shelter home’s girls and children by teaching or imparting new skills to them.
• Share your skills and talents with students who will benefit from the greatly
• Experience the joy of giving and healing others
• Accomplish personal goals of helping others
• Be committed to and intent on improving a specific cause
• Gain leadership skills by helping to lead others
• Ultimately, have the satisfaction of making a valuable contribution to society
